After
a day of people using the new database is looks as if a little more
help is needed. When doing searches by date please be aware of
two things (a) the reports are posted by party date not date received
and (b) there are two radio buttons at the top of the advanced search
labeled "any field" and "all fields". If you select March and
2009 as your search parameters and leave the default "any field"
checked then it will return any record which includes March and 2009.
This search will return all field reports from 2009 as well as
all field reports from March of any year. If you do the same
search but select "all fields" then the search only returns field
reports where the party took place in March 2009.
The
new field report database searches on character strings and the
searches are not case sensitive. For example, if you put "ca" in
the lady field you will get results for Candace, Carerra, Casey Lace,
Caroline, etc. however if you search "ac" you will still get Candace
and Casey Lace but your search will also return Laci Ann. This
can be helpful if you are unsure of the spelling of a ladies name or
your initial search does not return the results you expect.
The same applies to brothel searches, for instance the Moonlite is in
the database as Moonlite Bunnyranch. If you search Moonlight or
Moonlite Bunny Ranch, your search will return no results but if you
search Moonlite or Moon then your search will return all moonlite
reports. You may click here

have been entered in the DB under the current name, Love Ranch.
