Here is the tentative schedule of showtimes. Times are approximate.
The Chicken Ranch Movie -
10:00 AM to 11:30 AM - Filmed at the Chicken Ranch when it was owned by Walter Plankinton, the
original owner. It gives an interesting, sometimes funny,
sometimes gritty view of Nevada brothels in the late 70s and early 80s.
The Ranch - 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM - Originally
airing on Showtime this film about the fictional Diamond Ranch in
northern Nevada is one of the most realistic depictions of brothels and
the people who work there that I have seen outside of a documentary.
Phil Donahue at the Mustang Ranch
- 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM - A full hour of Donahue filmed on site at the World Famous Mustang
Ranch. This features Joe Conforte, several working girls, and
many northern Nevada residents in the audience.
I Live in a Brothel (MTV)
- 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM - Filmed at Salt Wells Villa east of Fallon it
features interviews and candid shots with three working girls and the
assistant manager.
Playboy Behind Closed Doors, Call Girls - 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM - A video that takes a look at all kinds of prostitution from Nevada's brothels to internet escorts.
City Confidential - 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM - A
rather mixed up and often hilarious look at Storey County and a history
of the brothels there. One of the things that makes it funny is
that many of the brothels shown are actually in Lyon County. A
lot of discussion of the origins of the Mustang Ranch, interviews with
Joe Conforte, Jessie Winchester, and others. The producers were a
little short on reality but it is entertaining.
Selected Shorts - 5:00 PM to ? - A variety of short videos primarily from talk shows featuring, among others, Jen Lynn Sweet.
